Who we are
Way2Think Technologies is a software development company based in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at way2thinktech@gmail.com or +91 8610186865 about anything on this page.
What we collect
Information you send us. Our contact form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your company, the service you are interested in, your budget range, and your message. Nothing on the form is collected unless you fill it in and submit it. If you email or call us directly instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us.
Server logs. This site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which records standard request information including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser user agent. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use cookies or tracking. This website sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser's local storage, and runs no analytics, advertising, or session-recording software. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making. Because we store nothing on your device, there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to opt out of.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project. This is the only reason we ask for your details.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you while we are in contact.
- To keep the website available and protect it from abuse, using the server logs described above.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list from a contact-form submission, and we do not send newsletters.
Who else can see it
Submitting the contact form passes your details through the following services. Each is an independent company with its own privacy terms.
- EmailJS — delivers the form submission to our inbox. Your name, email address, and message pass through their servers, which are located outside India.
- Google — our company mailbox is hosted on Gmail, so your message is stored there once it arrives, and the site itself is served by Firebase Hosting.
Two other services receive your IP address simply because your browser loads files from them while viewing certain pages: unpkg.com, which serves the textures for the globe on our home page, and cdn.simpleicons.org, which serves technology logos on our service pages. Neither receives any information you type, and neither sets a cookie.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
Because the services above operate internationally, your information may be stored or processed outside India, including in the United States.
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we are in contact with you and for up to two years afterwards, so that we have a record of the discussion if you come back to us. Server logs are retained on the hosting platform's own schedule. If a project goes ahead, the contract for that work governs how we handle information from that point.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also object to our using it or ask us to restrict how we use it. Email way2thinktech@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Depending on where you live, these rights come from India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, or the Australian Privacy Act 1988. If you believe we have handled your information badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to our inbox is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us passwords, financial details, or identity documents through the contact form.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information — for example by adding analytics or a new form — we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back if it matters to you.
